WISCONSIN DELLS

Brothers Mike and Mark Obois and their sister, Debbie Christensen, have purchased the House of Embers Restaurant in Wisconsin Dells from their parents, Wally and Barbara Obois.

Both Mike and Mark Obois, who worked in the restaurant while growing up in the Dells, are graduates of the Culinary Institute of America, Hyde Park, NY.

The supper club, which opened in 1959, is best known for its hickory-smoked pork ribs. The restaurant has expanded six times, now with seating capacity of 200.

The Obois family employs up to 60 people, depending on the season. The restaurant, which opens daily at 4:30 p.m. year-round, with additional hours for private parties and banquets, is located on Highway 12 in Lake Delton.
