In the French tradition, The House of Embers at Wisconsin Dells
will celebrate the first tasting of newest released French red wines
at a Nouveau Beaujolais Tasting on Nov. 16. The French always celebrate
the new wines the third Thursday in November.
Mark and Mike Obois, owners and chefs have designed an elaborate
appetizer and desserts menu, plus coffees and teas to complement
the fresh released wines. In addition, Mark Obois has just returned
from Napa Valley where he attended the Culinary Institute of America's
week long course featuring new sauces and consommés in the
European style. Several will be included in the elaborate appetizer
menu. Mark and Mike Obois, who have purchased the legendary House
of Embers from their parents, are the only chefs in the greater
Wisconsin Dells area who are graduates of the: prestigious Culinary
Institute of America, Hyde Park, New York. Nouveau Beaujolais Celebration,
6:30 to 8:30 p.m., including all wines and food is $28. To reserve,
